the bay. we're not tracking any hot spots. a quick bridge jacket over the bay bridge, the 880 approach is the best approach to the bay bridge coming off of interstate 582 an 18 minute commute time. your ride to the san mateo bridge highway 92, the volume is picking up the drive times are not. it is still between 11 to 30 minutes drive time to foster city. the golden gate bridge ride is still less move commute coming from marin county across the golden gate southbound. >> taking a look at our big story this sitting on 880 in oakland, two people were killed and the pores and shutting down and northbound 884 hours. this all happened just after 1030 last night near jackson street. and as reports suggest one of the victims man and shot and had. chp also suggest that someone may have been hit by big rig after exiting a vehicle. the

boy into cars reported seven shooting at each other leading a porsche at the scene of riddled with bullets. the roadway reopened to traffic up around 230 this morning and no arrests have been made. >> an investigation continues this morning in castro valley surrounding an officer and all shooting at following a traffic stop. jackie sissel is live with more details. >> you can see castro valley boulevard is still shut down right off the on ramp to westbound 580. it looks like it will be that way for a while as investigators continued to call over a car for evidence that led to this officer involved shooting. apparently are around 11:00 last night on alameda county sheriff's deputies spotted a stolen car with three people inside. he initiated a stop in the car took off. there is a short pursued and eventually the driver of the car stopped got out and fled on foot. it was not over

then because a second person in the car got behind the wheel of that car and took off again ultimately in the up here at the on ramp to westbound 580 off of castro valley boulevard. at that point, he made some sort of an aggressive move towards the officer and the officer pulled his weapon and fired striking the victim once in the stomach. the victim was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition. i can also tell you there were three people in the car. the first driver that initially got out and fled on foot was ultimately captured. the third person, a woman also inside the car, was ultimately taken into custody also. not clear exactly what led up to the shooting and what aggressive move was made toward the officer. the officer was not injured in this exchange and obviously we are still trying to get details from the alameda county sheriff's

department. i could tell you that castro valley boulevard is shot down for about a quarter mile or so. in the east on direction and the on ramp remains closed right now. >> also following the latest out sampras's the state where university police officer was injured after removing trespassers from the dorm room last night. there is youtube for one of the rest video from one of the t being made. university police were called in the trespassers resisted attempts to remove them from the building. sampras is copley's recall that as reinforcement. at all, 5 people were arrested in one university police officer was taken to a hospital. no word on how the officer was hurt or the extent of the injuries. >> they breakers is just two days away but this year you can expect as the

around 11:00 last night according to alameda county sheriff's deputies. i around 11:00 is when one of their officers spotted a stolen car with three people inside. he initiated a stop on that car and at that point the car took off and there is a small pursuit. at some point during that, the driver of the car stopped and got out and fled on foot. the pursuit was not over yet because a second person inside of the car got behind the wheel and took off. a short while later, on the on ramp 2580 the car somehow was stopped and the person made an aggressive move for the officer. he pulled his weapon and shot the suspect was in the stomach. the suspect was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition. the initial driver, the one that fled on foot, was ultimately captured and taken into custody. the third person

there were six people arrested and that these people were not students. they're not students that belong to the san francisco state university's campus. let me begin by saying the first arrests have been around 6:00. they said a male, 23 years old came into the dorm forcefully. he was arrested at that point. a couple of his friends came in later on and those were the five that were arrested later. i was a video of that arrest. someone who lives in the dorm was cheating this with their cellphone. they came into the dorms as well on authorized. they're considered trespassers. when police came and told them to leave and try to remove them. according to police, they resisted. according to witnesses they say they're part of the occupy movement. they were not going to stay there, they were trying to regrouping gathered themselves. they were not

planning to take over or stay there at all. in any case, a scuffle came out of that. when they were trying to address some of the people there, somewhere along the line someone pulled the fire alarm. the entire dorm was evacuated and once the people were out on the campus they have the san francisco police apartment, and to assist campus police to help deal with crowd control. eventually the fis and the one earlier, all six got arrested. the students were then allowed to go back and showing their id badges. this morning, it seems pretty quiet although there is just. some of the people say that the police overstepped their bounds because they were awfully quiet. the police stated that the people were resisting which is why they took the people down the way they did. it is

castro valley with details. >> castro valley boulevard here on the on ramp 2580 is backed open after hours of being shut down. there was an officer involved shooting right here on the on ramp for 580. according to alameda county sheriff's deputies are around 11:00 last night one of the deputies spotted a car with stolen license plates. at that point he and another deputy attempted to stop the vehicle. that is a vehicle in question pictured here. the driver of the vehicle got out of the car and fled on foot. there were three people inside the car, the driver was tackled and taken into custody. simultaneously, a passenger in the car got behind the wheel of the car and started to drive off. another deputy was attempting to stop him from driving and was dragged

down the street about hundred feet or so. a third that you came on the scene and pulled his service revolver and opened fire on the suspect striking him. the suspect was taken to a local hospital in critical condition. there were three people and the car, the initial driver that fled on foot and taken into custody. the second was shot and taken to a local hospital. the third, a female passenger, was also taken into custody. and jamie melton as a spokesperson for the alameda county sheriff's department and he talked about the fact that they think that this is a legitimate shooting. >> when a person is trying to flee and pulling a dead heat with him, they are certainly well within their rights to use whatever necessary to stop them. that is clearly one of the issues. >> according to the alameda
